When our customers share!

This weekend at Stampaway in Cincinnati, one of our sweet customers brought me this card to share with all of you. I saw her at one of the other shows we did and she said she would get back to me with the card and instructions... life took over and she misplaced the information. She remembered at Stampaway and here is her take on our Tulip Stainglass stamp.

Products she used:

India Ink black, Cougar Opaque Cover smooth finish 80#, Chalk pastels,

Prismacolor pencils-Poppy Red, Scarlet Lake, Apple Green, Grass Green, blending tortillions (the gray ones because they soak up the gamsol better), Krylon crystal clear acrylic, Q-tips, Simply Stampin-Stained Glass Tulips 1901701

Stamp your image with Indian ink. Color in the tulips with Poppy Red. Dip the tortillion into the gamsol to smooth out any imperfections. Color down at the bottom of each tulip with Scarlet Lake blending in an upward motion to shade,

Color in the leaves with Apple Green. Using a new tortillion dip into the gamsol and smooth out. Shade the leaves with Grass Green the same way as the tulips (from the bottom up).

Use a Q-tip with the Chalk pastels for the background stainglass. When finished, spray the entire card with Krylon Crystal clear spray.

Note-the heavier the color the more the shine.
