I ain't no quitter

We all have our days of project not quite ending up the way we would like it to... This was one of those creations.

I started out with the angel stencil and had a vision to use my Wendy Vecchi metallic gold embossing paste. Didn't work out well the first time around, I removed the stencil and low and behold... I dropped it! lol A few choice words were spoken, under my breathe of course, and started from scratch. Back to the drawing board and started again.

Sprayed the stencil again with my Pixie spray, put it on the paper again, took out my embossing paste and... just couldn't get it flat! Frustration has now set in but onward bound and changed my vision, I'm not a quitter...

So here is the finish product-using the same angel stencil and my Versamark ink pad. Sprayed once again, tapped the Versamark into the opening of the stencil, applied Judikins Metallic Gold embossing powder, removed the stencil and heat set the embossing powder. I took my cloud template, Distress Oxide Broken China and Salty Ocean and made the background of the card. When I do it again, I will probably reverse this and do the background first and stencil later.

All in all, don't give up... our visions may not always work out, sometimes it just needs to be tweeked!
