it's simply black and white Part 1

Updated: Aug 10, 2020

Hello all. Today's tutorial is featuring one of the cards that were going to be taught and available at Stampaway Cincinnati this year. Due to the virus, the convention was cancelled. The kits are available on our website and if your have already purchased it, then follow along this week as I will go card by card with instructions. Each kit has already been precut and stamped. I did this for the sole purpose of not having my students sharing products due to the Covid-19 virus. There are a few tidbits I will share with you on each one.

This is the Butterfly Triple Stamp Easel Card, one of my favorites and so easy to create.

There are 3 white panels. Your going to layer these 3 white panels, using washi tape to hold. Stamp your butterfly stamp, stamp around the 3 panels making sure you stamp on all 3 layers.

Carefully remove the 3 panels so they are in the same order. (Do not flip or rotate, keep them in order)

Adhere each white panel to the coordinating black size panel. Once this is done, just as a puzzle, layer the pieces again making sure the butterflies are lined up with the previous one and adhere the layers together.

Using a quickie glue pen (my very favorite little pen, lasts forever and works well with my glitter, wonderful control and goes just where I want it to) outline the butterflies and sprinkle on the Glamour Dust (again, my go to glitter for minimal shine but adds a super pop). You may do each butterfly at a time, the glue will not dry until the glitter is adhered.

Fold the base card on the two score lines. Adhere the triple panel front (the finished triple butterflies) to the base card only between the bottom of the card and the first score line.

There is a small black piece that is used for the inside of the card. With scissors, flag this piece on both sides.

Adhere the butterfly paper to the black strip and adhere to the bottom of the inside of the card. The white sentiment piece adheres to the black flag. Use a foam dimensional and adhere to the strip.

Stay tuned for Part 2!
